Shellie Auguste, DPM, ABPM attended Rutgers University where she obtained a BA in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Psychology. She graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2010.
During her time at NYCPM, she was an active member in extra-curricular activities and received the APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship and the Jonathan Robertozzi Memorial Scholarship.
Dr. Auguste then completed her 3 year surgical residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center/ RWJ-Barnabas Health in Elizabeth New Jersey where she was trained extensively in surgical and non surgical treatments of the foot and ankle. During her training she gained extensive experience in the management of diabetic wounds and limb salvage surgeries
During her training at Trinitas Regional Medical Center/ RWJ-Barnabas Health , Dr. Auguste participated in the Bako Dermatopathology Mini Fellowship and the Hyperbaric Medicine Training.
In 2013, Dr. Auguste joined Elizabeth Foot and Ankle Association. Dr. Auguste interacts with her patients with compassion and respect and provides comprehensive podiatric care.
She is a Board Certified Diplomate in American Board of Podiatric medicine with a Certificate in Amputation Prevention and Wound Care. She is also HBO certified.
